A design is only as good as the design brief, sadly all to often appropriately skilled designers in many fields assume that the design brief is a given. We feel that they are limiting the effectiveness of their own talent by making this re-active assumption. At 5 Design we insist that we are involved in drawing up the design brief in order to ensure our clients enjoy the full benefit of our talents.

At 5 Design we concentrate on assisting our prospective clients to draw up a design brief tailored to the needs of the project. We endeavour to lead you through a process at your own pace ensuring that you get to consider all of the options available to you. We employ various conceptual and reductive techniques which take you through the important considerations: practicality, affordability, functionality and quality.

The process of preparing the brief will normally take up to two appointments.
